the glossiest lsp

in your opinion what is the "glossiest" lsp you've used to so far.

 

Gloss-it, but it looks almost exactly like BFWD.

 

If we are talking about only gloss, then for me it is Danase Classic Wax.

 

i get the most gloss from Proper Prep 101.

 

Tried some Opti seal lately. Silliness. Like Zaino, it looks almost plasticy.

 

Polish first and your paint will look better without LSP than any lsp over crummy paint...

 

sorry let me be more specific, i meant swirl free polished prepped paint.

 

Swissvax Concorso over Swissvax Cleaner Fluid. Pinnacle Souveran over Pinnacle Advanced Finishing Polish was not far behind. P21s concours over p21s Paint Cleanser is also a winning combo.

I've used many more, but these are my fav. I have yet to use Zymol, but I'd like to very soon.

 

Ahhh... I just like to put that one out there for people who haven't experienced corrected paint!

I like BFWD... it's about as glossy as I care for... but beyond that Zaino seems to be pretty crazy!

 

Glossiest LSP would probably be Gloss it Concourso...very wet and glossy!!!

 

15 coats of Zaino. I am not lying its the most impressive thing I have seen. I left my frined a bottle of it and told him to put on a coat every 24 hours. Over 2 weeks later he showed up with 15 coats of it, and an empty bottle of Z2. Personally I prefer RG 42 with a Z8 wipedown, it really looks great.

EZ Creme Glaze + Jetseal + wax of choice

 

i personally have tried fk1000p/ pink wax, ckcmw buffed off with ocw, both theses combo's give, imho, great gloss and wet look. i'm sure though there are more combo's out there. i like to experiment with diff. comb. if you have a descerning eye you can tell a slight difference in the look of each combo. again it's all in eye of the beholder, as they say, and on prepped paint of course makes a world of difference, as those of us , hopefully all of us, knows makes a world of difference.:headbang:

 

What I've found is that on properly prepped paint, there aren't many differences between looks of LSP.

On uncorrected paint the difference is more discernable. But that's just my perception of it.

In my eyes, there aren't many products that can amp up the gloss of a perfected and jeweled finish.

So, I guess I'll also recommend Menzerna PO85rd and a 3M UK blue finessing pad. Crazy gloss from that combo

However, there aren't many people in my area that will pay for a perfect finish, so I do use multiple steps for LSP.

As far as combo's go. I like to start with a glaze (EZ-Creme, obsessive detail wet glaze, lime prime lite, or Lusso revitalizing creme), then sealant (Jet seal, or collinite 845, or Duragloss 111, or blackfire afpp), then top with a nuba (RBOE, SN, Lusso Oro, or Natty's Red). Pick one from each, and you should yield excellent results.

 

That's exactly how I feel. I've tried a lot of different LSPs but I haven't really noticed a difference between them - maybe a very slight difference.

 

you are correct, there is'nt lot of difference in the look of lsp's, it does come down to the prep, it always does, but you certainly can tell the difference between a sealant look and a carnuba look, plasticky vs. warm glow, so i'm looking for the gloss factor that add's that little extra pop to a prepped finish.

 

I completely agree with Pektel. The same wax can look completely different on adjoining panels of the same vehicle (depending on the prepwork). I haven't used many of the super exotic waxes but from what I have on hand, P21S really seems to add quite a bit to a properly prepped surface.

 

Purely for gloss: Rejex.
