Um...I'd love to hear what was used or perhaps what you did to the vehicle...nice vehicle by the way, it has very nice curves to it :thumb:
eek sorry I keep forgetting to post my process. 1)Foam washed with FMINUS formula..(foam gun not working right...) 2) Clay Bar with CG(blue) 3) Polished with 106FA(orange Pad) with FLEX The client was a high school student and did not want the full job. I gave him a break and just gave him a wax that he could put on himself the following morning.
looks great, even without a wax. The tent looks like a great tool, if you dont mind me asking, where did you get it, and how much did it cost? thanks for the info and great job
Bought it from my buddy. They are $200 each tent. Not too sure where though. The brand is called QuickShade. And the ones i have are called shadetechs.(Compact aluminum 10). Quik Shade
It seems that orange pad + finishing polish is a nice combo with the Flex. Maybe, it will be nice finding finishing polishes wich break down much faster than 106FA and this will save much time. For example, here in Europe is very easy to get 3M 09376, wich finishes very close to Menzerna FF and breaks down much much faster. I'll try also Meguiars #80.
