So I started to notice that my car has some really bad scratches in the rear. So, I went out and bought me a Porter Cable 7424xp and used some of the new products that i just bought (Pics of everything below). After I tried both the products, still, no change. I went over the sections various times, applied more than 2 coats, and still, no change. So I decided it was the pads so I bought this, http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-330-adams-porter-cable-polishing-pad-kit.aspx Hoping that will do the trick. Just wanted to ask you guys to see if I am missing something or doing something wrong. I hate seeing scratches on my car especially when I really try to keep it in good condition. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about the bad pics of the scratches, the best i could do Oh and these white spots keep showing up after I use my top cleaner Products: DSC01973 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01974 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01975 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr Scratches: DSC01965 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01966 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01967 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01970 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01971 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr DSC01972 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr Spots on the Top: DSC01969 by Akkmednoseflem, on Flickr Again any help would be awesome
Your problem is the 6" bp and 6.5" pads. The PC does not have enough power to spin a 6.5" pad. Get a 5" bp and 5.5" pads. For tighter areas get some 4" pads.
So nothing is wrong with the products I use? If that's the case, then the Adam's PC polishing kit I bought should do the trick? It has a 5.7"bp and 5.5"pads.
Damn it read that wrong Well I will just wait till it arrives and hope for the best I guess :waiting:
