you can get premium speed wax from me - http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/peculiar-items-sale/30140-lsp-sale-dodo-juice-rboe-collinite.htm
I have been wondering about this too. I want their 3" (for 4" pads) flexible backing plate. But I can't source that thing anywhere... not even overseas.
hrm the s0 compound looks interesting. If that could replace the need for sanding disks to repair headlights it could save a lot of time and money. http://www.schollconcepts-store.eu/en/abrafix/10300-s0-matting-compound
That matting compound is exactly that. Its 1000# in a bottle. If you use it, it takes 2-3 hits with 105 or Powergloss to bring the shine back. Seriously nasty stuff. I have some here that I tried on one spot a while ago and then I put it away. Forever.
Ken I have been wanting to make a purchase from Scholl Concepts for a while for polishes and compounds, what polishes / compounds do you suggest purchasing? Also any of there other products like pads would you suggest purchasing?
I've only used the polishes, glass cleaner, SW20 Speed Wax (very nice), Purple 9000 ( interior protectant ) and wheel cleaner. I highly recommend the polishes ( SO3+, S17, S40 and S30 ). The SW20 is very nice as is the Purple 9000.
Per earlier comments from Ken I'm really interested in S40 but man that stuff is spendy. I'm hoping Ken (or someone) will try Wolf WP-1N Ultra Fine Finish Polish and give us their thoughts on that compared to S40, PO85RD and maybe the Prima and Optimum finishing polishes.
Right now I am pretty much using Menzerna all the way. I do use 105 and maybe an OP product but I love the way Menz works. How do these compare so SIP, power finish and the micro polish?
The Scholl polishes have very good working times, even the compound (SO3+). The S17 is very similar to SIP/Power Finish and the finishing polishes, S30 and S40 are similar to 106/85RD. They are available in 8 oz bottles as well.
I've heard they need somewhat harsher pads to bring a hologram free finish. S3 Gold is sold as a one step polish when used with White Sandwich Spider pads. I thought these would be mid softness pads but they appeared to be rock hard. I have S17+ and W6+ yet to try. How's SW20? Carnauba type shine or a sealant type?
