Contacted by SF Motorcars to make this Dino nice for the customer who had recently purchased it, the concentration was on the finish as the interior was original and needed work cleaning could not accomplish.

Coming off the transport flatbed to the shop.

Cluster of scratches on the roof.

Single stage paint was dry, hazy and there was hard water spot etch.

1000 grit sand scratches that needed to be corrected.

Another vehicle that Daniel from "Car Connoissuer" helped me with, outstanding work ethic and skills.

Daniel handling polishing all the brightwork.

As mentioned................the interior was original and had "Patina" , so we cleaned as best we could.

As Daniel and I were in in a time crunch we did not take a large amount of pics, but we did two steps of corrective compounding steps, one medium polishing step and lastly a fine polishing step.

Perfection, the only thing you seem to do. You are stuck in a rut ;)

    Beautiful work as always!

I see you using that griots 3" polisher all the time. I'm really thinking about getting one. I've heard that the second gen is a lot more powerful and refined than the first gen of that polisher. What would you say it's full potential is with correcting power?

I first saw it in the Griots catalog, then Dave @ Street Dreams picked one up and liked it. I first used it myself when Jeff @ Immaculate brought his into the shop and even though not powerful it is effective, waiting for the Rupes machine to hit the USA(Not the Bigfoot but the smaller one I used @ SEMA last year). I will then snap that machine up with "the quickness".

Lovely! I've always had weakness for the 206 & 246 Dinos. I consider it to be one of the most attractive mid-engined Ferrari road cars. I'm also old enough to remember when you could buy slightly ratty examples for <$15k. If only I'd had $15K at the time although I suspect the maintenance costs would have devoured me. Anyway it is nice to see you and Daniel giving the car attention it deserves.

It really looks like that car just received a fresh coat of paint. When that color is dialed in... it's sure hard to beat.

    Whew! Nice work.

As always, great work Bob. Always hearing about Daniel's hardwork at detailing (and in the gym!) keeps me motivated!

Daniel and I took hardly a break on three vehicles in particular last week when he was up in Norcal, in business since 1988 he is 47 but looks and acts like he 27 and no matter what needs to be done he puts his head down and works.

His diet is on point as well................no cheating...ever, also no synthectic "Helpers" with the workouts which like myself he draws a clearline that he will not pass over which for him was really hard as he worked out with some top pro body builders for the last 25 years and knows all the "Tricks of the trade".
