This car belongs to a long-time client of mine. Done this car several times over the last several years. A couple years ago it underwent a restoration that left it looking just amazing. New paint, new trim, and motor just made this car stunning to work on. The original motor is wrapped up nicely and stored safely away while the new BIG cube HEMI shakes the whole car now.....BEASTLY. Just moving it around and the feel of that pistol grip shifter is so cool. I love muscle cars and this one is always a joy to work on.

A light correction was on order to get it dialed in. Wasn't in bad shape as the owner is meticulous, so it was just some light sand-scratch removal from the painting and very light wash marring. Correction was carried out with the PC and LC tangerine pad and Menzerna SIP. Paint was sealed with 2 coats of Zaino Z5pro.

    Upon arrival...just a little dusty

Getting the classic BF Goodrich lettering back to bright white

Foaming down the *currently* quiet beast....

Lack of beading after the wash....previous LSP stripped off nicely.

    Corrected

Some sand scratches....very hard to pick up on the camera with the metal flake in this paint.

    Corrected

    Some more.....

    Looking better....

This was not set up to be a 100% correction. The owner was expecting around 70% correction, so he was really happy with over 90% correction.

    Obligatory engine bay shots......the SHAKER!

Looks AWESOME Jeff! Add a point for the Mopar guys, this Cuda is beyond amazing. What did you use for the white lettering on the BFs?

Sweet Jeff! What was the turnaround time? It seemed to be a short detail.

Thanks Danny! The Shaker actually shakes pretty hard at idle with this car, does credit to the name!

Thanks Mike!! He takes it out frequently, its no garage queen, even though it looks that nice ;)

Meguiars APC 4:1 on the lettering brought it right back. Thanks!

    Thanks!

    Sure do

    Thanks Brian

Yeah it was just a 1 day job, about 12 hours on this one. Thanks!

Thanks Kody! I was going to use BFWD on this one, but because of those graphics and the risk of them not getting a uniform look I chose the Zaino as it will not change the look on graphics like that.

    Thanks!

It was a lot to do in a day as this car is "bigness", more so than it looks in the pics, but still got it done. Thanks!

    Thanks!

    Thank you!

Thanks Dave! PM me some pics of that car we talked about, would love to see it.
