I can't believe how much stuff came out, definitely entertaining/informative. Bob, would you mind PM'ing me with what Brandon's shop is called? I'm in South Jersey and haven't heard of any big timers around here.

 

I completely agree as I had so much more to say ohwell. Are you going to be at the event in Monterey in a couple of weeks?

 

Yes I will, working with DSMS(aka "The J") have to keep my training from Rich alive......on some "Special cars" will be there from the 17th-21st.

 

From what I know Brandon works as a "Private detailer" for a monied up guy and has no shop, also I do not have his contact info.

 

That makes sense. I figured at some point I would have heard from him. Thanks for the info.

 

Though that thread was fun to read/post, I knew it got a small tad out of line lol. To keep things interesting, I know an owner of one company completing bashing another company's products over the phone :devil:

I met him about three years ago. All he did was talk about himself. I knew right then that I was dealing with an ego maniac! I guess living life like I have helps me weed out the crap.

 

I'm fine it was closed. I just don't want all that was said to be deleted like some other forums I've been on.

Thanks, Chase. Just read it. Seems IIRC, there was a video or two of the GI team washing a car right out in the middle of a fairly crowded parking lot. I've had some off line conversations with a couple of people about this line and the guy and since Phil has closed the thread, I won't say any more. Glad that Big Bob brought this to the light of day

 

Very interesting I was trying to keep up with the thread a few days ago but it blew up and grew to 7 pages, finally got done reading it all. All I have to say now is I am really glad I purchased a gallon of Prima Slick and not Gloss it Gloss Enhancer

 

I find it funny how "The Chord" has twenty resellers listed on his site including his own shop and only about five of them are actually still selling his product. :crasy:

 

love the avatar Richie. I will say that I do like his foam pads but have since switched to 3m UK and Buff and Shine stuff. Price was too high and longevity it a bit bothersome. The backing plates never gave me any issues, but I have moved on to a firmer UK plate to replace the softer GI plates. The polishes were a huge let down as I stated before. I was expecting great things, chose to highlight them at a meet, only to find out they didn't work. That was a good way for 10 people to see a failure and I am sure they told others.

 

Damn......... I go to Hawaii for 6 days and missed all the fun LOL
