Someone hit my car while it was parked on the street at a friend's house in late December. The damage isn't real bad, but the front bumper will have to be replaced. Since I won't be able to protect the bumper for a while after it gets repainted, I am thinking about taking the opportunity to touch up a few rock chips on the hood.

    1) Should I bother looking for touch up CC to use over the paint?
    2) Is a rotary the only way to level the paint, or can I wet sand and then use compound with a DA (UDM specifically)?
    3) Should I just leave it for a professional? :)

Also, any general advice/tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
