Hey Everyone!! It's beginning to heat up in SoCal and I want to detail my '08 Interlagos Blue Metallic M3. It's been spoiled most of it's life but I got a job that doesn't have any covered parking so it's at the mercy of mother nature. The paint has had it's share of bird droppings and water spots. Light swirling is everywhere. I used to wash the car myself but can no longer do so at the apartment complex I live in (no facilities). So I've been taking it to a 100% hand car wash that runs it thru a car wash. They supposedly use 100% Meguiar's product. The only way for me to tell is that they advertise themselves as 100% Meguir certified. I've run it thu there about 4 times now and they've done about as good as anyone can do for $20. When I washed the car, I did not use any elaborate method (i.e. 2 bucket system). I did use Zaino Bros show car wash and their AIO to maintain the paint. Never clayed or REALLY polished the paint. For the next week, I'll be house watching my sister's house so I have the facilities and I want to take advantage of it by doing a full detail on the car. So here's the dilema, I no longer have ANY detailing supplies except for my 9227C, the Zaino show car wash, AIO and clay bar. Is there anywhere I can get a decent polish and sealant/wax for the car? Do the online stores have "express" delivery? This will be my first FULL detail. I want to get the good stuff but I'm willing to go to Kragen/Autozone/Wal-Mart if they have something that will work until I can order the good stuff. What suggestions do any of you have for getting "off the shelf" product? I don't know if that's too much info but it is what it is. Bottom line, I need product and need it soon. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I live in San Diego, CA. And....the clock starts now. Thanks in advance EVERYONE!!

you can take a drive over to Chemical guys which is a round 100 miles from san diego over in hawthorne and get some good stuff. there is also another place a little closer down in irvine. if you are really just strictly look for off the shelf stuff though . . . . . i have had great results with Meguiars Ultimate Compound (walmart) and i'm sure other places carry it but in hawaii we don't have auto zone etc . . . wheel cleaning - eagle one a2z all wheel and tire cleaner tire dressing - black magic tire foam interior cleaning - meguiars or lexol leather cleaner and conditioner wax - auto glym hd wax (walmart) or any wax for that matter since you just need it to be protected for a couple weeks until you can order some good stuff. i'm sure i missied a couple things but i hope that helps.
Thanks again for all the responses. Glistening Perfection has the ball. Gonna talk to them in about an hour to discuss what materials I'll need. I'm in trouble aren't I? As in this is going to become an obsession, huh?
duragloss products if you have something local. I started on them a while ago and still use alot of the exterior products.
Detailing.com is supposed to also pick up Menzerna, Lake Country, and Sonax around this time as well. They've also got all the Chemical Guys line and Megs pro line.
Mate, call up Phil at Detailer's Domain, get the proper shit first time around, he'll have it out to you in NO TIME!
