New style grit guard? Cyclone dirt trap? opinions?

Hey guys i noticed that chemical guys released a new ,well new to me cause i have never seen it before style of grit guard. they call it the cyclone dirt trap. This looks pretty interesting and seems like it would work well but wanted to get some opinions on it from you guys. This is what it looks like. Just seems like it may be better then the original grit guard.

 

Does look interesting but nothing beats the grit guard with washboard insert

i feel this would do a lot better of a job keeping the dirt on bottom and not swirling back up in the main water over the conventional grit guards

 

i love this insert, it works fantastic. incredible dirt catching..
