and my GLK's tires are snowflaked so theyre ok for most winter conditions here, however there was a time where the area iced up and thank god for stability control lol

Your lucky you have good tires on the GLK, I know it wasn't too good for you on the M5, I have Dunlops on the accord and I bent my drivers side front and back a week ago, luckily I ride on steel rims

I run snows on my M3 work well for me. Never get stuck. Though the cars got insane stability control, traction control, limited slip diff, etc! Only thing is ground clearance sucks..

but yeah I've had real shitty problems with the stock Toyo tires and the Falkens that i changed to soon after buying it. god damn nightmare thanks to consumer reports saying falkens were goood

I bought a used 540i for the kids to drive to school that came with those lousy riding Falken tires. I never knew how really nice this car could ride until I changed those dogs out and bought a set of Continental Extreme Contact tires - they are really great !!!

Falken ZE-912 - when its wet, it will wheel spin and on turns as well. Tire walls flexes too much. You'd be expecting more from a 140 tire (actually prob not) but I was expecting a lot more when consumer reports said TOP RATED. I was ready to drop money on Pirellis but the tire place gave me the magazine and since I was stupid, i went with it.

Toyo Proxeres - can go sideways on a perfectly dry day and can fish tail. Ultimately the worst tires there are, get rain and you'd be hydroplaning. threw them away at 1600km, i felt my life was in danger using these especially after i fish tailed on the bridge and thanks to counter steering and accelerator control, i didnt crash.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS - god like tires period.
