Finally got a chance to give Victoria Red a try today. The car has light scratches all over it, the regular daily driver beatings, door dings, scrapes, all the good stuff! But here you go! Yes I will stretch the headlights too Speaking of RDS, check out mine. Anyone care to tackle this one?
Looks great Ben! Man, I need to come by your place to check out your car, hehe. Oh by the way, I'm heading up that way later today for the Giants game, you should go!
Sorry Denzil, I'm going to be working over in Sacramento. Next time, let's organize a small get together with Aaron and other norcal folk! Hey! Thanks for the wax it's finally found a home in SpecC's garage. The lens is a Tokina 12-24mm f/4 on a Nikon D200 body
My favorite thing about Victorias is that it does not attact excessive dust like most other high carnuba content waxes.
how do you like than lens? I was thinking of getting it , but f/4 might not be fast enough so i was thinking of the 11-16 f/2.8
awesome pics there. i was playing around with my buddy's d80 a couple days ago. it was my first time using a dslr and its not as complicated as it seems. i might buy myself a used one sometime in the future. i did find the new nikon d5000 to be pretty awesome, but i don't know if i can afford it yet.
i'll probably see it the next weekend to check up on that. this fact makes me want to buy this wax more and more! i thought that too, but i figure, if i need it for things i want to shoot, i'd be putting it on a tripod. If it's no a tripod, i don't care how fast it needs to be. I love the ranges it has, but the autofocus is a bit loud and indecisive. still, a great lens for the money. it's very impractical though. i hit my car gently with the hood while getting a picture of that scratch  the d5000 would be a great choice! if not, a used D80 or D70 wouldn't be a bad choice either. i'm sure you'd be happy with either one definitely surprised me. i knew it was good, but this is miles ahead of anything in the price range imo thank you sir!
I'm a huge fan of Victoria :cheerl: great wax and always delivers very, very nice results :thumb: As for the lens I have a wide lens as well but to be honest I don't use it because it's a bit too wide for my taste but in tight areas it's a great lens, I need to learn how to use this wide lens so I can appreciate it more. Great looking vehicle as for the very deep scratches, I'd love to take a stab at it :thumb: I've been experimenting with touch up paint recently.
