Just thought I'd post pictures of my Metabo when it arrived. I ordered it for my birthday and it arrived smack on my birthday how cool is that. Well on to pictures: Oh yes, my wife got me a new Laptop all for me I got the Toshiba Qosmio G20. It's a 17'' Pentium M 760, 2GHz based laptop with 2GB RAM, two 80GB SATA hard disks, Nvidia GeForce Go 6600 graphics card, Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG (802.11b/g wireless LAN), DVD±RW (with DVD+R dual-layer support), Intel 10/100 network card
lol...what they are seperated NO hahaha thanks buddy, the laptop is quite nice. I'm very pleased with it, it performs quite well. I usually bring it in my garage and the speakers it has are quite nice. By far the Toshiba has a better speaker system compared to my Sony laptop. Apperently Toshibas are known to have speakers.
Sounds good Have a ASUS myself ASUS G2S 17"WXGA+,Go 8600M,Core 2 Duo T7500,2 GB,160GB,DVD±RW,WLAN/BT,TV,VU
very nice. So how do you like the metao compared to the makita? I love my makita and am just wondering if the metabo is that much better? but very cool buffer and even cooler computer
Thank you, the Metabo cmopared tot he Makita? Well I prefer the Metabo because it's lighter. I do like the triger action the Makita has but aftera wile it gets to be a little anoying...that's just me though. Nice feature is that you can see the speed setting and you don't need to lift the machine or turnit off or anything like that, once I got the hang of the Metabo I can change the speed setting with out even looking at what dial it's at, I can just hear the machine and by the sound I have an idea at what speed it's running at. For doing flat surfaces like the hood, roof and trucks the Makita is good but when it comes to doing the door panels that's when I just couldn't adjust my self with it. The Metabo has a nice feel to it as soon as you place it on your hands, it feels confortable and as though it belongs in your hands. But both Makita and Metabo are great tools, I like having both actually...it's nice having choices lol.
cool thanks for the info Carlos,it looks like I am going to stick with the makita and spend the money on other detailing goodies
Happy belated birthday dude! lowest and highest speed setting? I use a DeWalt, and the thing is a serious workhorse, and i think i could drop it off an apartment block and it would still come back for more.
