It may not be true, but it seems that Mothers is fairly low on the detailing food chain. With the release of new products this past winter, in particular their Professional Line, it appears that Mothers is moving upward.

The line is inexpensive by no means, which must suggest that its components are of at least decent quality.

Anyone that has tried the products, what are your thoughts?[/U

I have tried the "Mothers Professional Heavy Duty Rubbing Compound (81232)" i bought it because i knew i was going to being needing to remove alot of sanding scratchs on a very hard single stage paint. It did work took about 2 passes with PFW @ about 1500 - 1700 rpm to remove 3000 grit sanding marks. On a a dodge dakota i tried it on with a PFW and it took 1 to 2 pases to remove 90% of the defects. It is very watery and find it to correct better than M105 but of coarse leave more swirl marks to clean up. I liked the working time of the product a lil longer than say power finish. Overall i am glad i tried it but dont recommend it. I would like to her what ppl have to say about the polishes.:mounty:
