Advance Auto parts has several Mothers products on sale such as the Mothers clay kit for $3.95. For $3.95, you get 160g of clay, a mf towel, and a bottle of Showtime.

They had some others Mothers stuff (like Synwax and paste cleaner/wax) on clearance as well.

BTW. I noticed Advance is picking up some Surf City Products.

not bad at all, showtime is pretty good QD and the clays is a nice fine/mild clay as well.

Which advance did you see this at? May go check out the one by my house on Western.

It was the one in north Raleigh on Durant Road. They had about 8 to 10 boxes in stock.

I stopped in Virginia yesterday and it was on sale there too but not as reduced.

It was labeled special purchase. I also picked up 2 chenille mf mitts for $7 total so I pay $11 for 2 mitts and the kit. They had other stuff on sale too.

I like Surf City's tire dressing a lot, but durability is not among its strengths.

Grime cleaner or something like that is a great product to use to get rid of bugs and other stuff on the car. I had a bottle, liked it but now just use MS SGS as its cheaper and use it for more things.

at that price, they are a steal! Buy all of them, Mothers clay is much better then Megs white clay!

i thought the opposite. But i bought my mothers clay at kmart on clearance for 1.99. It could've been ancient, thus perhaps explaining my negative experience with it. for 4 bucks i'd try it again though.

Megs blue clay is OK, but I never liked their white clay...

The SCG Beyond Black Tire Pro is a really great tire dressing, a little goes a long way too. For improved durability apply two thin coat of it per tire. Apply the second coat after letting the first dry (usually dries in 10-15 minutes.) I like the look, gives a similar look to GI's Signature Tire Gloss imho.

Mother's used to be my favorite clay until the whole patent war thing.
