    Good night for everyone.

This is a little detail that i made in my father's "toy".

The aim was in fact leave it with some shine.
Make a correction to the paint in the order of 60/70% in order to conserve as much varnish.

    I found it thus:

After pre-wash with Snow Foam and Foam Lance and then with 2BM, Sonax Gloss, glove and dried it with a Fluffy towel:

I then proceeded to decontaminate with QD and Claybar 1Z:

And do not even have much contamination ...

Then a new wash and returned to the garage to rest for the next day:

Then I realized that the bumpers did not have any rust:

... and of course tried to minimize this trouble without putting new ones ... still here to fight the rust ...

I did not take photos inside but were under the same conditions or worse.
Soon I decided to once again minimize the damage:

I then proceeded to the isolation:

    And then:

    A test spot (cutting):

In the hood, could be seen improvements (cutting):

    Right side (still cutting):

    Left side (without detail):

    Driver's door (cutting):

Have you noticed some reflections on the door?

    Front mudguard right (cut):

    Turned to notice some improvement:

I went to the right rear fender:

    Roof:

    Rear:

Until i get this (even without tires conditioned, steps, arches, etc.):

And voila ... a classic car, with all these years and after many washings with the broom ...

I was pleased with the results.

Looks great! haha, I was hoping to be the first one to post a Beetle detail on here, but alas, mine is still in pieces :p All that effort I went to, taking the car apart and buying new parts and it's still gonna only be a 20 foot car. (There are still dents, my bodywork is far from perfect, $700 Maaco paintjob.)
