I haven't seen a general thread that lists the uses people use MG APC for. In my case, I found if very useful at 4:1 and 10:1 dilution ratios for a multitude of uses! Ill list a few, but post up here and share your own!! Tire scrub Wheel cleaner (agitate with brush also) Interior surface cleaner (plastics and vinyl) Leather cleaner (in some respects, but I much prefer a true leather cleaner... only used this once when I ran out of leather cleaning solution and it saved my a**!) Post up!! At $15 a gallon, this is possibly the most versatile product I've used in a while, and the more bang for my buck I can get, the better!!
I use it and I like it. Wheel wells, tires, wheels @4:1. Leather and vinyl cleaning, @ 10:1. I recently got a sample of Majestic Solutions SGS APC, and will try it out soon (gotta make filthy surface to test its true cleaning power).
I've only been using Simple Green and Purple power as my APC. I've been wanting to try the Meg's stuff cuz I hear a lot of positive reviews.
4:1 wheels + tires+ wheel wells...if wheels are coated. 4:1 in dirt engine bays, 10:1 in cleaner ones. 10:1 for Leather, dash boards, small spot stains. 1:1 as a spot treater. Usually use it 10:1 to clean the trunk carpet, and 4:1 for the carpet under the hood. It powers through those nasty cup holders pretty well at 10:1 but sometimes you need to bump it up to 4:1. When spring rolls around I am going to give Kleenol a run. I have a couple gallons of APC and one gallon of Kleenol. For the size APC wins, but we will see about cleaning power!
So far I've had great experiences with Meg's APC and Super Degreaser. However, I'm going to give MS SGS a shot since JL and Karl rave about that product a lot, hehe. If all goes well, MS SGS may just replace Meg's APC and SD, so long as the overall price is comparable.
as mentioned i use Megs APC for all of the same things everyone else is using it for and i have found a few other uses for it around the house..... 10:1 great for counters and all purpose cleaning general bathroom cleaning pre treater for stains on clothing before going into the wash works well on painted walld especially when combined with MrClean magic eraser.... 4:1 stubborn bathroom cleaning pre treater for stubborn staind prior to going into wash works great in foam guns as well to remove LSPs.....i just throw a few ounces into my foam cannon along with a little hyperwash and the rest water and have at it....it foams like crazy and works well...gentle enough to not harm the paint..... i find that this product fort the price can not be beat....
