hey just wondering how you guys clean your 5.5" pads after use... also i forgot to clean it and its beren about 24 hours. is it gonna be no good anymore?
I've been using Dawn Power Dissolver lately. Before that I was using Snappy Clean. When using Dawn P.D., remember to rinse them thoroughly under running water for about a minute or two. I find that sometimes it stays trapped in the foam. I had a pad that I hadn't cleaned in about a week and Dawn had no problem cutting through the caked on polish.
I get by the drain in the driveway and clean my pads. I spray 5:1 APC and work it in with my fingers, then rinse, then again, then rinse. Do again if necessary.
