It looks like they only clear coated all of the carbon fiber on the car. I like it.

 

Its the best car I have ever seen, I have fallen in love with it, but this will be the only right hand drive car, and the other 5 left hand drive.

 

Initially, Koenigsegg Automotive was based in Olofström. However, on February 22, 2003, one of the production facilities caught fire and burned to the ground. The fire was extinguished with help from 40 firefighters from various different fire departments (Ängelholm, Hjärnarp, Strövelstorp, Bjuv and Helsingborg), villagers from Margretetorp, and passers-by. Approximately 15 Koenigsegg cars, body parts, machines and engines were saved before the fire grew out of control. The cause of the fire was determined to be a short-circuit in the company kitchen dishwasher, which then spread to the roof, which was insulated with hay. On that same day, the Koenigsegg cars took refuge at the nearby former Swedish Airforce Base, near Ängelholm. After a few days, the decision was made by von Koenigsegg that they would stay within the former wing to rise from the ashes.

The phantom insignia on the Koenigsegg is a tribute to the Swedish squadron that operated from the F10 base, which had the ghost as its emblem.

Yes carbone fiber all the way. Did you know that carbon fiber HAS to be clear coated because it is made of a substance that diminishes with sunlight. Pretty interesting. I was at an SCCA event and there is a new CSR or DSR not sure that is all carbon fiber that is not clear coated. The shell is 80k... JUST THE SHELL and after about 10-30 weekends it needs to be replaced from what i here... but towards the end of the shell you start getting faster .

Yes I did it today as they have a lot of clients who want to see it.

Im just editing a video at the moment, has a 50/50 before and after shot, a bit of Paintwork correction process with the Makita, some Crystal rock wax being applied, and then an after walk around video, with a view of the interior, likely the sun was out today, so it looks out of this world. This is for sure my new favourite car of all time, its a work of art and a mere 1014bhp!

If you look closely in all the pics, you will notice the carbon fiber weave runs continuous lines. Kinda like a pinstripe suit. It takes twice as long to build this car due to that fact alone.

So basically, all the lines in the body art flow, and not clash by going in 2 different directions.

 

Wow incredible vehicle :worship: :worship: makes the Enzo and Bugatti look like chumps huh :worship2:

 

It is very nice but it cost an insane amount of money.
