Klasse or Zaino??

Anyone have any comments on which is better? I have heard that Zaino is more complicated? Klasse has the two stop operation.... not sure if one is superior or is it more personal?

 

As with any product it's a matter of personal preference. I personally like Zaino, but I've never tried Klasse.
There are so many products out there that work great, just not enough time in the day to try them all.

just to complicate things. Its price and durability are excellent, and I happen to think it looks very good too, especially on light colors.

 

i have klasse SG and it leaves a great finish IMHO

 

Klasse has an AIO product KAIO and the SG which is the sealant.

Zaino has an AIO product ZAIO and either Z2pro for lighter colors or Z5pro for darker colors as the sealant.

Now if you want to do multiable coats within 24 hours, zaino has a product called ZFX which you mix with Z2 or 5pro. You put 4 drops of ZFX into a mixing bottle with 1 oz of either Z2 or Z5pro. Shake for 90 seconds. 3 coats max within 24 hours.

IMO zaino Z5pro will give you the best results on darker colors.

I used Zaino for years and was very pleased with my results.

Zaino is a little complicated at first with the mixing of ZFX into the sealants, but after you do it once it is second nature.

 

Z2 Pro IMO opinion is much better than the old version. I have to give Zaino the edge in this battle. It would be a little bit easier to use, and give a better look. SG was always a pain in the butt for me...

 

Definitely Zaino. I have tried both and found Zaino to have better looks and durability. It is also much easier to use than SG which is a real pain in the butt to remove and often streaks. The newer version of Klasse is even worst when it comes to its durability and cleaning ability.

Also, like 04Cobra mentioned. Zaino gets better with every release as Sal is constantly improving it. I found his latest release Z2Pro and Z5Pro to have the same look as any of the "high end" carnauba's. If you haven't tried it recently you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

 

These type of threads are the most useless. Zaino guys prefer Zaino, Klasse guys prefer Klasse, what a surprise.

I have also tried them both. They both have pro's/con's that don't give eachother any edge over the other. Again it is user subjective.

What is better? Chocolate or vanilla?

 

Thanks for the comments - the one thing is that the streaks with Klasse I do find annoying..so maybe it is time to try Zaino....

Give Z2p a try, you will love it. Just apply it thin and you will have no issues at all.

The only time I have ever had Zaino streak on me is if I did not prep the surface properly and tried to apply it over heavy polishing oils. I have even applied it too thick and had no issues. All of the user friendly issues like long drying time and streaking WERE addressed with the release of Z# Pro version. It is basically idiot proof now.

Chocolate is better, hands down.

 

Look is subjective, so you'll have to try it out to see which one you like better...but Zaino is much much easier to work with, durability will be similar (one layer of Z2 or Z5 vs one layer of SG).
ZAIO is also better than KAIO in cleaning/durability/ease of use.

 

why not get both? Ice cream truck has the mix or swirl option which is the best of both worlds

or Z aio + klasse sg

 

I find that KAIO has better cleaning than ZAIO. ZAIO seems to melt into the paint after a few passes, while KAIO has a longer working time thus allowing better cleaning. YMMV.

 

For me Zaino is the best out there. Its not complicated the steps insure Zaino bonds correctly that's why nothing can touch it for durability. I have personally found that Klasse ,Werkstatt and DG mute the metalic and
the have that sterile look that 's always brought up. All 3 are real good products i just think Zaino really enhances the finish and brings out the metalic and true color and of course durability.
Since zaino doesn't hide anything your prep work is extremely important.
