well here are 2 shots i got from my iphone before these beads froze enjoy!!

the paint was clayed and polished using just 85rd as the paint was mint..

then i used some SV cleaner fluid, 1 coat of js 109. and 1 coat of SV BOS..

again after cleaner fluid it just looked sooooo damn glossy.. then js109 and BOS added another level of gloss each.. and again these shots were taken 2 months after my baby had a full detail.. the car was just washed with swissvax auto bathe.

You didn't have a bonding issue with the CH and JS109? Nice shot by the way

How much JS109 do you use on a car? I just got my 16oz bottle in yesterday

Is it me or is it due to be rewaxed?

You should be able to get 16-20 applications at least. When you separate the liquid sealant into small bottles it makes it much easier to tell how much you've used. I've never used more than 1oz for a normal sized car with any of my liquid sealants, waxes.

Will 1oz do two layers on an average car? (I own an is300)

It can be done. If you can manage to cover the entire car with 1/2oz, then by all means go for the 2 coats with 1oz.

here are some more pics from Monday.. this was with a wipe down with zymol field glaze a day after driving 75 miles through snow in the city and the burbs..

Brian in regards to bonding issues with CH..what is CH? do you mean cleaner fluid or BOS? either way i had zero bonding issues and only 1 application of each.. i lay it down thin with a swissvax black pad.. this time i did half with js 109 by machine on a blue waffle 3m uk pad.. the other side i did the same way i apply BOS using the black pad.. the Swissvax side.. i used less than i did when i applied it by machine.. and i did it the same speed if not faster and no coverage issues either.. Cleaner fluid made such a HUGE difference.. bigger than js 109.. the oils really made the sparkling graphite look soo damn glossy then js 109 added more bling and BOS added the most between the 2 lsps.. but i am always amazed by SV cleaner fluid.. when applied thin it is a breeze to remove.. but a pain when thick but the same goes for anything in my book. hope you guys enjoy... oh and field glaze added such a nice amount of gloss my buddies said to do the whole car after a panel to see if it was worth it. it added a noticeable amount of gloss.. i still say quick finish might have a slight edge but i use and love both.

oh and in regards to how much i would say in the 4 -5 coats i have put on i have used about 1/3 the bottle and that is with 3 of the 5 using machine which i say you use at least 20% more if not 30% you have to saturate a large pad vs a small swissvax black applicator.. oh and just fyi i use the white swissvax pad for cleaner fluid.. both are awesome.. and i just did the white 540 that is no more thx to engine issues.. well most likely no more.. i did it with cg ezyme.. and i have to say i really LOVE those applicators for the 500th time.. but it will be my last jar.. it is sooooooooo oily.. the swissvax pad absorbs it like a sponge does water.. it was unreal how much i used and i had the same soft method of brushing against it not rubbing it around hard like i have seen some jars look like on here and that is what mine looks like now after only using it twice.. i used maybe 4 times a jar of BOS.. i really like the looks but still not as good as swissvax imo.. it doesn't have the high gloss factor that BOS and Concourso have as well as the brightness of concourso.. it is a good wax but for the money i would go swissvax all the way.. but it is up there.. also i am not a fan of the orange as i have said before not only for the looks ont he coat when applied but the way it stains. the applicator looks like ass now.. after 4+ washes.. just super super super impressed with BOS.. it is my go to wax for when i don't want to use crystal rock.. rock sheets better and has better looks but by a small margin big on the sheeting though.. and the longevity we shall see.. at 4-5 months with crystal rock i got shots on par with these.. still plenty of protection and no i don't add a qd but once every month to 2 months.. i am just starting to use them more often.. so i guess from now i unless otherwise stated qd's will be used after every wash.. mainly quick finish and field glaze.. though i have just about every other qd including fk425.. but in a qd i want to add gloss and slickness and i get more from the other two including optimum than the 425,, 425 has the edge on pollen and dust.. but i am not worried about that in the winter.. even in the summer i would rather add more to the optical side than to the anti static side.
