How many folks here would be in for a STL meet?

Guess I better start a thread on this since I kind of requested it (thanks Nica!). I know LittleMissGTO is in the STL area and I know another fella from Autopia that would probably show up depending upon schedules of course. Some things that come to mind for an initial meet would be product swapping, sharing tips and tricks, rotary buffing, Flex buffing, etc, etc. Also, we may have to wait a month or two as the weather is pretty unpredictable this time of year.

 

I'm going down to St. Louis in June.:thumb: I'd be up for a meet then. I'll be there June 13-16 I believe.

 

I'll be out of town for the Hot Rod Power tour the first week of June and Drag racing all day on the 28th of June. I won't know more about my schedule until my car club releases the schedule for the rest of the year.

 

Yeah, I would be happy to host. We have tons of parking space and an enclosed facility if you all have the winter blues. (Wash bay and tons of space)

 

Now that's what I'm talking about!!! Inside washing and detailing. I could probably get away for a half a day or so on the weekend in the next few weeks. Not sure about anyone else. You're in Belleville correct? I'd have to pack a lunch to get out there...just kidding!!!

 

Weekends for me are a bit of a wash until wrestling season is over.

 

I hear the World Challenge is going to be back in STL again this year!

My GTO has a serious case of the winter blues. Wonder what the weather is going to be like next week. I need to do some correction HORRIBLY. Do you carry the complete line of CG products?

 

Whoa, MWAUTOPRO, do you guys carry CG stuff? Personally, I've never used (directly) CG, but have been interested by some of their products. Dang, we need to get this up and running, but the weather just sux too bad right now.

I know MWAUTOPRO was willing to host at his facility on the east side, but it's a little bit of a hike away. We'd almost have to make a day out of it (and pack a lunch!). I could do a weekend day easiest, but I if I have enought advance notice, could probably take a vaca day and do it during the week. I don't think we need anything fancy to just get together, shoot the breeze, drink some beers, and trade tips and tricks.

 

East side definitely a hike. Weekend day is what I had in mind, nothing fancy either. Gotta figure out who wants to try what beforehand, if anything.

I stopped by and talked with Ben today. What a pleasant guy. I also left with lighter pockets. Oh well such is life. How do you guys feel about possibly meeting up on May 25? Black Diamond we could meet up at the park and right off of 270 and I'd be glad to give you a ride.

 

My friend and I visited Ben Sat. morning. We both left with lighter pockets, my friend moreso than I did though.

I don't know if I'll be available the 25th as I've got family coming in town that weekend. BTW, where are you suggesting we meet lmgto, the track or Ben's shop?

I could potentially be available. Might even have a good test car for us to do. I'm supposed to be doing my neighbor's blac MB E350 that weekend. She has to turn it in off lease to Plaza (who I hate with a passion), and is worried about a recoditioning charge. I checked the paint last week, and it's pretty swirled up.

 

I'm sure I can get another black GTO to bring if need be.
