Rear lift gate was in really bad shape...

    Got to get better..ahhh yes!

Defect removal took around 6 hours. Sonax is a different character to work with...instructions seemed way to quick to remove any defects. Some sections, it gave me an incredible long working time, yet others had no time to work and chunks of Cutmax flying off the pad even after cleaning pad each pass. I tried Sonax EX 04-06 as a Stage 2, and I simply did not like it at all. Made paint super sticky/grippy. I went back to Meg's Finishing Wax/Finishing M/F Pad and had great results!

I told clients I was using there van as a guinea pig/experiment test. I feel like I have some high end vehicles coming, and have been reading about Wet-Fire over Ice. So took a plunge and bought the kit. Blackfire sealant & carnuba wax. Believe the hype...sealant applied.

I applied with D/A, but I will do next one by hand. I could see the paint changing as I was applying Wet Diamond...weird..
I gave it 45 minuites to set up. It came off super easy and super slick!! Grabbing some setting sun...

    Was very impressed... :)

Next day, time to layer 2 coats on top of sealant. Made to bond with each other. I gave it about a 12 hour cure time overnight prior to topping.

WIpe on, wipe right back off..great wax, but it does reduce the slickness of sealant. But results were awesome!!

    Blackfire products...Hoover applied....Hoover approved!!

    Headlights after..

Enough indoor shots already! Let's roll!!

Tucked away prior to pick up.

I reminded clients upon pick up what they asked me about a month ago...Hoover, what is detailing...I said "This is detailing" and had them turn around to look their at van in the driveway...shocked, speechless...in awe and wonder..love it!! Very very pleased indeed!! There you go guy's, you now have a brand new van!! This is what we love to do!!

As always, thanks for all support, comments, questions and all that. Have a great evening, and go live your dream!!

Glad you liked using BFWD. One of my favorite sealants to date.
