Zaino is the only sealant I have used but im looking to try something new now. Im looking for something that will last about as long as Zaino does, and preferably something that I can get off a canadian site like eshine.ca so I won't have to pay shipping and other fees from US sites.

    Thanks!

Would Jetseal109 topped with a wax like Victoria Red be a good combo?

The only thing that is remotely close to Zaino is DG. I have been testing products for years, trust me nothing lasts as long as Zaino. Do your self a favor spend the extra for Zaino
its worth it. Why try to find something thats almost as good when you can have the best.

Jetseal looks great but doesn't last nearly as long.
Optiseal is nice and has pretty good durability ,but its not zaino
Werkstat for me leaves a pl;astic look and doesn't last at all

Dogma hit the nail on the head. As far as longevity goes, Zaino cannot be beat. That Z2 Pro is very reflective, but people complain about its "plastic" looks and the lack of warmth. Not many actually top Zaino with anything.

Duragloss 105 comes very close, is a LOT cheaper I find a bit easier to use. And you can get it over the counter! I personally use this sealant if I'm going to be topping it with a a carnauba wax.

Jetseal 109 is a great looking sealant, but it doesn't last very long. Everyone always tops this with a wax, which gives fantastic results.

Collinite's anyone??? Not sure how available it is in Canada, but for longevity, it's pretty tough to beat. As for looks, it's always looked good to me. Besides in the winter, I'm going for maximum protection. Try either the 476 or 845. 476 is a paste and 845 is a liquid. I almost use these exclusively on my cars and customer cars.

    Isn't 476 or 845 a wax though? :shead:

FK1000 has the same glassy 'thick clearcoat' look IMHO, lasts every bit as long, releases dirt more easily in touchless washing and is cheap as well. Huge tin will last forever :)

As Buddy said, FMJ is very nice. I've been playing with Blackfire's All Finish Paint Protection on a few cars. Almost exactly the same as FMJ but its Polycharged as well. I've heard you can get up to 4 months with one application. Poorboys EX-P is nice as well.

Yes. But 845 is a liquid after you shake the crap out of the bottle. Very easy to use as well.

I was surprised Collinite 476 didn't do so well in his test.. I still really like it though. (Actually I think collinite was in his Biggest Wax Test Ever thread)

And how can Blackfire be polycharged.. but when I add polycharger to my own liquid wax/sealant it is only usable for 48 hours?? and I thought it was strange that his non-polycharged sealants outlasted their identical ones with it.

I was also surprised that the Swisswax waxes were some of the longest lasting in the test.. I never bought any cause I didn't think they were very durable...?

I recommend DG105..The one sealant I wanted to see compared.. but it's not in his results??

i use jetseal 109 and top it with a swissvax wax..any wax should work fine including victoria. i had only one coat of 109 and one of swissvax bos and at 4-5 months still nice beads and sheeting.. in a month i am going to polish her up if my back allows it..might be two months. still i know there will be protection..swissvax cleaner fluid was used to prep the paint and it's oils assist in bonding better than anything else i have tried. and Mark if you don't support america who will defend you? lol

I have tried many sealants and I do not think any of them compare to Zaino. Zaino is definetly tops in my book when it comes to sealant.

I guess Duragloss is a distant second but it is more like the older versions of Zaino that I once used.

I've gotten sorta mixed results with Zaino in my (fairly limited) usage.

A clean surface is key, I made the mistake of using 106FF and not doing a wipe down between that and ZAIO (followed by Z2PRO) and durability suffered.

I tried again on a different car. After polishing, I wiped with IPA (marred the surface in the process...fukking BMW Jet Black), went with ZAIO and a white pad, then Z2PRO. 6+ months later, after a plethora of harsh touchless and coin-op car soap, as well as my own washing when the weather permits, I still get beading on the hood and sides. Tailgate, roof, and rear bumpers are pretty much dead, that is to be expected though.

Easily the most durable product I've used. I would recommend Collinite before it though, as it is easier to use and not as finiky.
