I finally got to try the Gloss-It Line, which I got from Ken and I must say the Finish/Concorso/Gloss Enhancer combo is incredible. I stripped my LSP with P21S TAW and did the usual two bucket wash. I applied one layer of the optional Gloss-It Activator (bonding agent), followed by one layer of Gloss It Finish, then buffed it off (both were applied by hand with an MF applicator). Application and removal was super easy. Immediately after, I applied 2 layers of Gloss It Concorso via UDM and a blue LC pad. I buffed it off with an MF and the Gloss-It QD (Gloss-Enhancer). Again, application and removal was easy. The results blew me away. The reflectivity, depth, gloss and wetness are incredible. I was also surprised to see a nice warm carnauba glow, not something you see with sealants. I could go ahead and top Gloss It with RBOE and expect jaw dropping results, but Gloss-It is still good on its own. The T.R.V is also nice on exterior trim, leaving a nice dark satin finish that is not shinny, oily, or streaky. The real test for the T.R.V. is going to be the duration and its resistance to water. The Tire Gloss was a bit too shinny for my taste, even though I only applied one layer and then buffed it off with a damp MF; however, it is a perfect look for those clients who like some shine. Oh, this combo makes the flakes pop like crazy. Here are some pics.
EDIT: Took a second look at the tires this morning and they look great, with a very rich dark satin appearance. I'm thinking that perhaps the lighting was making them look shinny or perhaps it was just immediately after application that the shine was evident. I'm definitely keeping this one.

The GI sealants do have a nice nuba glow which you dont find in Zaino or DG. I would suggest applying the concourso with a softer foam pad (100ppi gold lc works best) or you can just do it by hand which how I do it. As for the tire dressing I usually dont get a shiney look, did you apply and immediately rub it in? If so next time try letting it sit on the tires for 10 minuets and then rubbing it in with an applicator, then once more buff it down to a matte shine with an old MF.

Either way the Lexus looks killer!

No way you would get a nuba glow with Zaino. Thanks for the suggestion regarding the concorso with the gold lc pad, that's exactly what Ken recommended, but I don't have any right now. As for the tire dressing, I waited about 5 minutes, then rubbed it in with another foam applicator, then buffed it down with a damp MF towel. The shine did go down, but still not enough for my taste. I still prefer the look of Z16 or Ultima TTG Plus, just one application and you're done. The GI Tire Gloss requires too much time and work for a tire product. Thought I might give it a second try and see how it goes. Maybe it is just the way it looks on my tires or user error, but I know that for many people like DSMS, they can get a really deep satin look from it.

I am always up to try new things, over a year ago I tired a few GI products and liked the brand. I always say however I will use whatever product, from whatever company to get the results I need. :thumb:

Ok, fine, I'm heading over to Ken's site now to get some GI stuff. Since he is in BC it will be a short shipping time too! Sweet!

Does bring out the metallic really nicely. I might be giving this a shot one day.

I ordered all the products you listed, detaildoc, and a set of the Race Glaze brushes. I'll see how it stacks up!

You will love this stuff. I used the RaceGlaze brush #16 for the wheels and ended up liking it a lot more than the Swisswax wheel brush. The RaceGlaze brushes clean a lot better and fit better in the lug nuts and they don't loose a bunch of bristles like the Swisswax.

Look at it this way, when you figure you'll get 3-4 layers out of each 4 oz bottles, its not so bad. Also, if you are charging for detailing, you are recouping your cost and more. That and the fact that if you don't like it, you can send it back. No questions asked. A little goes a long way with this stuff. Its all good.

I put two layers of the concorso and the bottle is still pretty full. I'll be getting more than 4 layers out of it.

I have spent hundreds on other LSP's that don't even look as good as this.

    Great review Luis!

    Now that's customer service!

On a somewhat similar note, I had a chance to try the Extreme Evolution Cut and Evolution Cut polishes and I was having trouble with the EEC. EEC was dusting a little bit and I guess I was using too much. :shead:

I know I don't have the technique down for these polishes just yet but should I treat the GI polishes kind of like Optimum? Sorry for hijacking your thread Luis, LoL.

When using the current line of GI polishes like extreme cut and evolution cut you must use the EVP pad prime with it. IMO it transforms how the polishes perform completely and you will not dust at all.
