Ya'll can thank me by sending donations to the Junebug Home for the Momentarily Stupid. Ok, I bought the Griots 3" polisher that AG sells, thinking I could have somethiing light and able to do polishing in tight places. I had to spend 95 bucks to get free shipping so adding a few pads filled that need. Got it home, tried it out - after the 4th attempt I just stuck it on top of the detail cabinent, dirty pad and all, maybe I'll get some novice to give me 35 bucks at the yard sale. That POS ain't got enough power to do squat! Forget polishing, it is only good for adding a layer of wax. Save your money, get a PCXP - I have the old PC and wish I had just used my birthday money to buy some more 4" pads and a 12 pack of Corona!

Headlights - only if they have the early morning dew on them, anything more and it'd be like pushing a Cadillac up a steep hill with a rope! Honestly, it'd just fit getting wax out of a jar like Souveran or Oro and spreading on paint. As we say down south, dang thang couldn't pull a greasy string outta a cat's ass.

I think the metabo has the same specifications..... Just checked and they both orbit at the same rate. gritos motor runs at 240 while the metabo is 220.....so....... Do you own the metabo?
I bought from AG, I don't know if they do refunds - anybody had a simular thing with them? I'm going to try using it just to apply wax, till I get the yard sale thing going ( thinking Oct). Maybe we ought to start a thread on - don't buy this_______, nah, probably just get a war started over something.
^^^^^:agree: I would also tell them I want a Refund, I'm sure they realize its a P.O.S. If nothing else I would want them to give me a store credit. If they don't want to do that, then I would Cut-n-Paste the above experience you have been thru and post it on EVERY detail site and update it daily :headbang: You laid out 2 epic 1 liners :giggle:
Even though its from AG, Griots itself refunds if you're not satisfied with any of there products, so give them a try and see what happens, worth a shot.
