I know this ones been asked but I could really use some feedback from you guys now that there are a few more flex's out there. I've narrowed it down to the two. I'm a weekend detailer with a PC and an old Milwaukee that's variable speed 0-1750 but no dial.
    Any flex 3403 regrets?
    Thanks

Well I've used the Flex DA and a Makita rotary. I tried both in one day. The first one I got my hands on was the Flex. I thought okay I'm selling the UDM to buy a Flex. It felt really good in my hands. There was very little vibration. I was in lust. Then someone handed me a Hitachi. I wasn't comfortable with it at all. We later figured out that there was something wrong with that machine. So someone else walks up with a Makita. I took to it like a fish to water. It's sitting in my closet right now. I can hear it calling me telling me it's time to go to work on the GTO again...LOL

LMGTO the 3403 is a rotary Flex. :) Just FYI.

The Flex is lighter but the manual states not to use anything bigger than 6.5" pads.

I know, I was just relating my experience with a Flex. :thumb:

IIRC, the Makita allows for < 1k rpms. Not sure if the 3403 does though.
