Well after having a very nice day this past week I washed my car for what seemed to be the first time in forever. I got to try out a few things, thought Id review them. Sorry no pics, my old crappy camera is acting up again... DP Extreme Foam/ AG Foam gun::joint: First time ever using a foam gun, and like I expected I love it. It beats the hell out of my garden sprayer I was using. The DP soap is obviously formulated to foam very well, and it seems to clean pretty good too. I used it mixed witha little dp 4in1, to mee this is the best of both worlds, lots of foam and good lube from the 4in1. Highly recommended, but Im sure you all knew this already lol. Thanks a bunch Tom! DG 105/Aquawax (continued...)::joint: The DG105 is going really strong. Since my car is garaged (although I still drive it in everything but heavy snow) I dont think I will have any problems with durability. It isnt as slick as when it was first on the car, but I still get very nice beading, and this is from one application about 2 1/2 months ago. Aquawax is also the perfect booster, it restores alot of the slickness and leaves the car with a nice glow. I used it while drying, which makes its quick and easy. For winter protection, I would highly recommend this combo. I can only think adding something like collonite to the mix would yield the ultimate in protection. Mothers mag & aluminum polish::joint: This is some pretty basic OTC stuff that im sure many of you have used at one time, but this was my first time using it. The only metal on my car is the echaust tips, and they were filthy. This stuff is nice because its a cream thats easy to spread around, and buff off, and it cleaned up the tips very well and made them shine like new. Good stuff. Surf City MF Towel bundle::thumbdown: I'm talking about this MF package... Surf City Garage Nano-Detail Polish & Wax Microfiber Kit Well, I am very disappointed with this one. The yellow "all purpose" MFs were the worst. They linted worse then any MF I have ever used. Im talking BAD lint here, maybe they need to be washed, I dont know. They were not very soft either, almost reminded me of a normal cotton towel. The blue more plush towel was OK, not the plushest by any means, but it had one huge flaw. There is a Surf City sticker on it that I could not for the life of me peal completely off. It was stuck so bad I started ripping the MF fibers off trying to ge tit off. There is still a piece on there, so that towel is pretty much crap now... I bought this package for the MF applicators which I needed. Theres no real problem with those, except they are an odd size, kind of thin and larger then my others. But I guess they worked OK. I would never purchase this again, and would recommend to you all to stay away from them. Duragloss Ultimate Orange APC:nod: This stuff only got a quick trial, on my dirt wheel wells. I had a bottle mixed 10:1, and it did the job well. Nothing amazing, just cleaned like it should. For really dirty stuff it should probably be mixed stronger. Im no APC guru, so you may have to judge for yourself on this one, but I would buy it again. I dont need anything crazy strong for my car, so this does the job and is pretty cheap. Its also a little weird because the stuff is clear. Im still loving all my other stuff like DP total interior cleaner, 303 protectant for outside trim, and optimum protectant for interior plastic and vinyl. I may go back to lexol, or try and find another leather conditioner, because the four star that Im using now just doesnt soften the leather as much as I would like. I can't wait for spring, I got a whole bunch of goodies Im dying to try out.
Good info, thank you for sharing :applause: I think we are all looking forward to spring :wicked: I know I am Oh hope you don't mind I moved it to the review section eace:
