    Hello

After 4 years being in sun and rain parked in front of the previous owner , the first owner bought the car again and decided to restore the 550 to his original beauty.
The car at arrival a poor thing to see...

The leather was almost ruined and had to be new from Ferrari and also the base is thicker and better quality than OEM.

Seats and steering wheel were restored.

Holy crap my friend! Now THAT is a fantastic job. Removing the dash? WOW! I can't believe someone did that to one of the best looking Ferrari's.

    Hello

For a perfect rebuild the dash was removed but i had the help from a leather specialist in classics , it´s easy to remove but safely is another thing.
It has many parts that can be easily broken .

The car was almost abandoned for 4 years in the sun and rain , hardly moved from the front backyard of the previous owner.
The new owner and original buyer when saw the car rebought him again and wanted to be good as new but maintaining the original parts as much it could be possible.

The buttons were all like gelly and Ferrari here asked 500€ for each one...well , all the buttons were restored and look very nice :).

Thanks for your kind words :)

Very nice work. I hate that coating ferrari uses on their interior trim pieces. Working on a way to refinish those....

This is NOT a detail! It's a restoration! I'm kidding. This was a fantastic job. I'm still in awe of the Porsche, so this gets 2nd best detail of the year for me :p It's pathetic though, how a Ferrari owner can let the car get into such rubbish shape. It was in worse shape than most Civics I see around here

Awesome job bringing that Ferrari back to life! Looks like that 550 had the bad factory glue problem that affected many 550 dash boards, as they changed glue suppliers midway through production which prevented it from peeling like that.
