ok everybody, for interior leather which should I go with? lexol griots hearing alot about both products online and both are positive. used zaino z10 and it is good but really expensive and I personally feel that the smell can be a little too much for my customers. heard that the detailers north of me are using griots so thought I would get feedback here on what you guys like the most. looking to use either company's products for cleaning, conditioning. thanks godoman
wow . . . . .the griots looks to be pretty good but i have never heard of anyone using it. I hear of people using Lexol. In the end i guess it really depends on what the majority of leather you work on is . . . . . older leather or newer leather that just needs a good maintaining.
Haven't used the two you posted but I use Leather Masters and really like the results (better then pinnacle ime).
I've been a Lexol/Zaino user for a long time, but lately I've been using diluted woolite and duragloss leather conditioner with great success. The duragloss leather conditioner is extremely similar to Zaino, but it's definitively cheaper.
Lexol makes leather sticky! Leather Master, Raceglaze, 1z leather care, Zaino Z-10, Surf City garage voodoo leather would be my choices... as for inexpensive 1-stepper, you will be surprised, but I like Turtle wax leather cleaner/conditioner spray...and it's available OTC.
I've found that my customers like the smell of Pro S-44 leather lotion. the application is a bit tedious because it can leave some high-low spots, but all it take is a nice buff with a clean terry sponge. I don't got leather interior myself, lol. But, my co-worker loves Z-10 ..allthough.. he's a Zaino freak, lol. Tan leather in his 95 5-series still looks like new
