DurrMaid or Aztec extractor....opinions please.....who hs which one and what are the pros and cons of either....i am leaning towards the Aztec hot rod.....
I've heard some bad and good things about the DurrMaid but mostly only good about the Aztec. I decided to go with the Mytee 8070 Lite II instead.
I've got the Aztec, it's good but I've had a minor issue with a faulty thermocouple so instead of the heater shutting off at the correct temperature it will actually boil the solution. I like that it has a 50' heavy gauge power cord, heats up pretty quickly, only requires a 15amp circuit, and has been pretty dependable over the last couple years.
i am thinking Aztec at the moment....i just lost the bid on one on ebay by like $20.00..... i may just go for it and get a new one...
i recommend aztec i own one and have had problems that were taken care of promptly first class customer service!:applause2:
guys i have a chance to pick one of these up off ebay with a coupon ebay sent me for 15% off and free shipping....the total would be $551.65.....i think thats the best deal i am gonna find.....i think i am gonna pull the trigger..... yeah thats my feeeling as well....i dunno....i was gonna pull the trigger on one but i may hold off now....
Looking at the seller hes got good feedback. You could contact a buyer that has purchased one of these and get their opinion on its performance. Im leaning towards taking a chance with this :giggle:
I purchased a Durrmaid earlier this year and have used it many times without 1 issue. It looks exactly like the Aztec, but has the vacuum ability which I find very helpful. I am very pleased with my Durrmaid. It has removed stains I thought would never come out and always makes the car I'm working on look fantastic. A great addition to my arsenal and a huge leap from the little green toys.

How do I go about doing that? I was introduced to this forum by a detailer I know up in North Texas and I enjoy being on here I just had never registered. But I do not want to go against the rules. Do I need to get in contact with the admin?? Thankss
I'm not really sure Nick. Admin Might be the way to go. There's got to be an easier way though...
