I have a product in gallon size and it is concentrate. it is to be broken down at 1 part product to 2 parts water (assuming distilled water for best results, hard water in washington state). can any of you explain to me how you go about breaking down an entire gallon of product to create 3 gallons of the product once it is mixed with distilled water and in a way that is simple to then pour into the spray bottles that I have in the shop ( please dont think I know about funnels), what I mean by this is I could easily pour one gallon into a shop bucket and then just add 2 gallons of water to it and done. prob is then I have a huge bucket that is really heavy (compared to one gallon of product) that can easily dump too much at a time and make a mess all over the place. any help would be greatly greatly appreciated godoman
I think most people use gallons diluting it as they need it and use a gallon pump, spout or nozzle to decant it. What kind of product is it that you feel you need to dilute the entire thing all at once?
If I'm diluting something in a 1:X ratio, I add the 1 part of the product to a spray bottle, then the x amount of water until it's full. I usually just eyeball the amounts. I use a funnel to make it easier to pour.
