These wheels are my Dad's that he puts on his truck during the nice part of the year. They had been sitting outside for a bit and needed some attention. He wanted them cleaned up before putting them on this year. These wheels had some pitting in the chrome, and I tried to clean them up as best as I could without damaging the wheels. They aren't perfect, but I tried my best. My Dad was happy either way, and he knew what the deal was with the pitting. Thoughts: 1) Great Job! 2) That pitting is weird... 3) 5 hours on 4 wheels... we're insane sometimes. 4) Cute kids.
You have done a great job on those wheels, Roger! I've taken off wheels off my wife's car to detail them, and noticed that it is very time consuming...Did you say you used up 8 oz clay car on them??? I cleaned mine up with Megs Wheel Brightener, then removed tar with Tardis, and then clayed them...then wasn't much to clean up after WB and Tardis...
