I was recommended to this gentleman through a local European car group on Facebook. His Golf R was brand new but had accidentally acquired some serious water spotting over the entire car. Obviously this was somewhat disappointing so the goal of this particular detail was to get him to fall in love with his VW again! This was also a good opportunity for myself because it gave me a chance to finally use my new Rupes machine that I bought but had yet to try out. First impressions: I like it, obviously. It seems to be a bit smoother than my Griot's DA and also a little bit quieter. I think the more I use it the more I will enjoy it. May have even sped things up a bit but this paint seemed to be on the softer side already so it's hard to tell for sure. Careless wax job probably done by the dealership before it was sold... Losing light quickly! No clay shots, was very clean as far as that goes. Let's check out the condition... The roof...man. Thankfully the taillights would improve significantly! Fooling around with the pipes! Time to work some magic! Fender is looking on point! This panel was an eye sore before! Mirrors turned out well!
