today i decided to CQuartz my calipers before they go on the car sometimes in next month or so. had to wetsand touch up couse i nicked them when they were drying after painting them. polished by hand. did IPA/dawn wipedown 3 times. and applied coating. temp while applying were 15C. let them dry for 15 min at 30C near fireplace and wiped them off. second coating will be today or tomorrow. with recent tests how well coating resists heat this should be pretty good to test. i planning to put 2-3 or maybe even 4 coats on by time im done. here is the video
put 3rd coat this morning. probably gona put another one and thats all for this caliper. then gona fix the other couse my dad dropped it and coat that one
