This is what I like to see. I did this F350 a week ago. He's had it out of the garage once so it wouldn't get dirty. I've never really liked Dodge products... until now. This thing is so cool. Engine cleaned with AG Powermax2 and dressed with AG Vinyl & Rubber Care Washed with PB Super Slick'n Suds with lambswool mitt All jambs cleaned with AG Powermax2 Tires ,wheels and inner fenders cleaned with AG Custom Wheel Cleaner. Tires dressed with BlueDew Tire Dressing. Wheels and calipers got PB Wheel Sealant. Clayed with Automagic Blue and Blackfire Poly Clay. Polished with Menz SIP on Orange and Green CCS and Menz PO85RD on CCS Black LSP today was Menz FMJx2. All jambs and under hood got FMJ as well Leather conditioned with Lexol. TOTAL TIME - 14 hours This is the interior BEFORE I did it. Could have vacummed it with a lint roller. Put all your dirty stuff on here to keep the carpets clean... when you're done flip it over... and nice clean cargo area. Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care. Just spray it on a wet engine and walk away. I dilute it 50/50 with water and it still works great. MMMMM.....Hemi! This is what most of the truck looked like. The owner and I agreed on me keeping the truck for two days at this point. And a few deeper RDS, most of which came out. Glass all scratched from snow removal. Your guess is as good as mine! All clean and ready for polishing Healthy paint readings. Suprisingly, the readings were all very good, ranging from 165 to 190 A few 50/50 shots All polished with SIP. Its 7pm and I'm going home. 7am day 2. Breakfast of champions! After PO85RD paint looks wet and no LSP applied yet. 14 hours later, a Chrysler even I would put in my driveway. Money shot! Now I'm a day late getting to this and lucky me its been sitting out in the sun caked in salt water for the past three days. Its 4pm and 85 degrees out. Its getting wash tonight and I'll be back early to start polishing. How long could it take? Its only 30'. Nice flake. Nice swirls. Stay tuned for the write up. Thanks for looking!:thumb:
Very nice, love the 50/50 shots. Car looked great after the polish with SIP. Do you feel you could have gone straight to LSP after that or did the car need the 85rd.
Great job, it's got to be a good feeling to see that F350 still so clean. Were you able to remove those scratches from the glass or were they too deep?
First off fantastic work!! I absolutely love the Jeep SRT8!! I recall seeing a teaser TV ad for it and I fell in love with it then. Its halls ass too. Your breakfast of champions looks very similar to mine.
I could have but the 85RD adds enough to make it worth using. If this was a single stage polish, yes, it would have been SIP on a green CCS and straight to LSP but I had to use the orange CCS in some places so there was the chance of hologramming so it got both. If you go back through the studio a ways, look for a FORD F100 STREET ROD I did. That truck had been wetsanded so the paint was perfect and yet you could see a noticeable difference after using 85RD vs SIP alone.:thumb:

That thing is looking good! Nice color on the Jeep as well. Your 50/50 shots really show off your ability. By the way I have those same floor mats and absolutely hate them. The worst things to clean and make look good.
Thanks for the comments. About the mats. I liberally spray them with cleaner, agitate with a brush, rinse really well and hang to dry. That should work for you.
Oh thats what I do I meant to keep looking clean. They trap everything and dont want to let it go without washing, you can't shake those things clean for nothing.
lol..well you know what I mean, I'm enjoying all your details. You definitely know how to make the vehicles look great. Detailing is hard work and to do it right you need to take your time, I consider my self slow and all my details usually take me about 20 to 25hrs but then again I'm just a weekend worrier and always take my time. I'm always amazed at how your able to work mobile :worship2: :worship2:
very nice!!!! i love me some american muscle...... nothing says fast like an SUV that can pull a 12-13 second 1/4 mile beating ALL current japanese import sports cars.... except the GT-R. all while hauling a cabin full of groceries and a few passengers. if i got my hand on one, i'd put a nice 150shot of nitrous, torque converter, slicks and a really good tank of jet fuel with a tune..... oh..... getting sidetracked....... excellent work yet again!!
