Chemical Guys 5050 VS Wet Obsession...

What's the difference in between these two? Looks, durability, ease out use, consistency?
I need a little feedback, please...

My wax is basically a tweaked version of 50/50. There has been a wetting agent added among a few other tweaks. The durability is going to be pretty much the same, in my opinion the Wet Obsession comes off a lot easier even if it is put on too thick. Also I've had many customers tell me that they get a wetter look with the Wet Obsession.

 

Whats the durability of 50/50?

 

Not sure about 50/50 but I have Wet Obsession on my Explorer now and will report back on durability.

 

I see. What about consistency? Is your wax softer/harder then 5050?

 

Pretty much the same consistency... I have it on my WRX right now, looks great.

 

Any update on the durability of Wet Obsession ?

 

Yes: I saw 6 weeks of durability. At that point, there was still beading on the sides of the vehicle but hardly any on the hood.

 

Most people have been getting 6-8 weeks of protection with Wet Obsession. I like to add a fresh coat every couple of weeks, so I don't worry about the durability of it!
