I have some BHAB coming and I know their are applications methods that will make my life much easier any suggestions on to what kind of applicator to use and the method? Thanks!
Use to use uber red applicators but the last time I used it I used a DA and a uber gray pad and applied it via DA. Worked out to be faster ans easier to buff off.
I usually like to apply the LSP by hand I will consider that though. Did you buff it off with MF by hand? How did you spread the BHAB on the DA?
Personally I prefer a terry or microfibre applicator for Auto-balm but it really is whatever works best for you. Damp applicator, not dripping wet, not just a misting on the applicator, but damp. Tiny, and I do mean a tiny amount of balm on the applicator. If you put the whole applicator in and twist like you would with a wax that will be way too much, you want a tiny little dab on the applicator. Work in 12 to 18 inch sections, spread it out as far as you can go. When it's right it just glides over and you can work it out to a nice thin layer. If you feel it dragging, you have either too much balm, or the pads not wet enough. It shouldn't be sticky it should just glide. I find you normally have to wet the applicator again every so often. Then remove straight away, a nice thin coat buffed straight away will come off easily, it's almost likes like it's just dissappearing into the paint and glossing up. The easy way to know if you're doing right is that it will be easy to spread and buff, if it's not you're doing it wrong. :giggle:
