Hey guys, Although I have been coming to this site for a while for tips and to take a look at the always great show & shine section, I have just decided to make an account. A little about myself, I am 18 years old and live in Pittsburgh and work part time at a detail shop while going to school. I have loved cars my whole life and I am lucky enough to have a couple cool cars in the family! So bear with me as like I said, I'm a bit new and always looking for advice. So without any more, I got the chance to detail a 1999 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, said to be only 1 of 7 left in this color combo, and the last white Diablo ever built with a build date of December of '99! The only is a 2014 Bentley GTC with only 1k on the clock. Neither car was I able to go 100% but both got a nice clean up. First up is the Diablo. It was last driven in the rain, and was decently dirty. The clay was very dirty, and definitely needs a 2/3 step correction, but thats for another day. Exterior -Zymol Car Wash with two bucket wash -Whole car was clayed with Uber clay, a lot of stuff on the paint -Wheels were hit with Sonax Plus and various brushes -Adams Buttery Wax -Adams Glass Cleaner Interior -Sprayed down with Blue Magic L&V Cleaner -Leather scrubbed with a leather brush and a Griotts and brush attachment -All the mats taken out and sprayed with 409 -Vacuumed -Final Wipedown Before Wheels were hit with Sonax Plus Car was then washed Dried, then turned to interior, Before Mats were taken out, then scrubbed. Quick Wipedown of the interior, then she was done. After. As I said before could have definitely used a correction, and more attention to the interior. Thats it for that one! Hope you enjoyed it. The Bentley got the same treatment as above, and again, was just a quick clean up. My father owns a body shop, and the white seats definitely show. But it cleaned up very well! Before First car was washed & clayed. Clay had a lot of contaminants, as this car has spent 75% on the highway Windows steel wooled Wheels hit with Sonax Plus again Car was dried, then had some Adams Buttery Wax put on Wax on Wax off Interior was wiped down with Blue Magic again, and seats were scrubbed with a brush and a Griotts. White seats were very dirty after only 1k miles. 50/50 Mats hit and scrubbed with 409 Got a quick vacuum, then final wipe down. Then done! Hope you enjoyed these two cars! Thanks
very nice work! a '99 Diablo? Why did i think those were much older... Very cool to see one getting cleaned up. thanks for sharing
Yupp! Amazing for a 15 year old car! And probably in the next month I'll take a buffer to the car! So I'll write that up
