Well i had an enquiry to work on this car a while back, the owner uses the car for long motorway driving over to Germany on a monthly basis. He had the dealer prep it before he got it, but the owner was very disappointed in their lack to improve any imperfections. Here are some pics how the car turned up: So initially I rinsed the car off, then cleaned the alloys with Bilberry Wheel cleaner, Surfex APC on the arches and tyres, also done the fuel cap and the door shuts Also cleaned the engine bay with Surfex APC and a detailing brush to aggrigate more stubborn grease/dirt I then Snowfoamed the car IMAGE REMOVED Rinsed, then washed with Swissvax Car Bath, 2BM with a CG Lambswool wash mitt rinsed the car again, then detarred, clayed, rinsed, washed once more and rinsed. Dried with dryer from CarWashnWax and taped up the car ready from correction. Took some pics of the swirls: Couple of paint readings taken also: (Not sure why the rest didnt upload, range between 130microns and 143microns) Corrected using 3M Fast Cut Plus, Ultrafina, Megs 105 and 205 on various CG Hex Logic pads The only "Mid" correction shot I got as concious of of the time..... (Left corrected, right not) Once corrected some pics The paint was cleansed with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and then Waxes with Swissvax Best of Show. The alloys were also cleaned with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and Autobahn was applied. Tyres were treated with Swissvax Penu. Engine bay was dressed with Chemical Guys Silk Shine Dressing.
