Hi DB Folks, Finished this vehicle last week and this is a pretty niffty little car. 200 HP I believe, same as Civic SI. I find that the VW interior carpet is not that nice, a little better than Mazda 3 carpet. The VW could use some redesign on the OEM floor mats though. "Honeycomb" shape does not make detailing easy...:badidea: Any ways, here are the pics: Before - Driver Door Panel After - Driver Door Panel & Other Door Panels Owner Behind The Door Before - Driver Foot Well After - Driver Foot Well Before - Steering Wheel After- Steering Wheel Before - Center Console / Shifter / Cup Holders After - Center Console / Shifter / Cup Holders Before - Passenger Foot Well After - Passenger Foot Well Before - Rear Seating Area After - Rear Seating Area Before - Glove Box After - Glove Box After - Trunk Before - Dashboard After - Dashboard Before - Door Jambs The Itsy Bitsy Spider Made A Spider Web...:gasp:..? Nice job! I'm astonished that so many people find it okay to sit (drive) in such filth on a daily basis.
Whew, nice save on those carpets. I didnt get those matts with my gti, i had cloth, but bought the honeycomb for winter. So maybe they werent stock? +1 on the products question
Thank you guys! The owner lives near me and I ran into him at Wally World the other day. Lol The car was still clean after a few days Thanks guys. Yeah the honeycomb design is not good. Maybe they weren't stock then, designed as winter mats? Maybe Panels, dash, steering area, were apc and then cockpit Door jambs were OPC and then rinsed Carpets were shampooed and Adams C&U cleaner, same with seats Glass was prima clarity 303 fabrics guard Maybe a couple more items here and there...can't recall atm
