What can I say if your customer loves his ride he loves his ride. I got a call last week to get this rig all done up for father's day. (family wanted to buy him a new van but he said no!)

So here it goes an unlikely vehicle done by DD.

Phil, how well do you think the 1z paint would match my borbets original finish with a clear over top?

Wow Phil, times must be tough at the domain factory! Did Audi quit making cars?? I thought all east coast Audi's went to DD? Under hood composting, always my favorite! Seriously, nice job Phil! Good to see you do charity work!

    LOL it wasn't charity pricing ; )

as for the silber paint it does a great job however I would consider prepping and doing all 4 wheels.

    Looks great Phil!

I gotta say, when I get a vehicle like that to work on, I find it a lot more fun to clean as there are instant and drastic results and the customer is always blown away.

    Nicely done once again!

"Ordinary" work vehicles can be worked on because as Phil said it was not "Charity pricing", very few if any with this vehicle will pay what is needed to properly bring it back to life. Great job Phil & team.

I am surprised to read that so many are surpised to see Phil working on this Van...

    Something to chew on:

I charge the same hourly rate to work on a Porsche/Ferrari/etc as I do an Avalanche... BUT the caveat is that there is much more real estate for an Avalanche therefore the price can get pretty steep.... Many prospects do not see investing $1,000+ dollars into a vehicle that it utilitarian and not a disposable play car with emotional attachments

    Oh ya, nice work Phil...
