So I think since I have so many many pics and different stories for each car, I'll need to write up a car a day so I don't spend 5 hours writng up all of them at once. here's the first car: 2006 Ford GT Gulf edition #6 1st off, the car just came back from a charity track event long story short it was driven ALOT on the track and had its share of rubber compound and tar on its lower half! The break dust was deceptively heavy as well... look how dirty the wheels are-my brother standing next to it 1st up P21S wheel gel: clean wheels: Next up was the Wash: after the wash this was still left over: after a tar remover: we clayed the car with Swissvax Paint Rubber-no pics it was wierd...we couldn't get any thing MUCH to show in the halogens but we saw some minor swirls in the orange part when we had it out in the sun...so we decided to go Menzerna PO106FA on a white CCS pad via Metabo Rotary turned out like: finished out with a nice coat of Swissvax Concorso after cleaner fluid we did the engine but no pics...if you do a GT you'll understand...its very tiring and it never seems like its gonna end so by the time we were done we crashed asleep. interior got einszett leather care and cockpit premium protectant and the rubber floors were dressed with Griot's Garage vinyl/rubber dresing tires got Adam's VRT and wheel wells got Adam's invisible undercarriage engined finished out with Adam's In and Out spray windows got einzsett glas polish in and out total time was about 20 hours.....try doing one of these the job never seems to end. what a car though....enjoy tomarrow is the red 80's Porsche Carrera Widebody Full correction
Sweet Detail!! Great Job :thumb: I wish I could detail some awesome cars. Looking forward to the next couple write ups.
That looks like a challenging vehicle, so many curves, turns and twists. I love curve but they can sure take a tol on the detailing part  The vehicle is gorgeous but not meant for me, not sure why but there is someting that just dosen't capture me..I like looking at them though, they look great as they drive by. I got a question for you ampbmw, what tar remover did you use? Just curious. The reflection on the vehicle looks very nice, I've seen the engine bay on these vehicles and it dosen't look easy at all. I've never detailed one of these vehicles but it sure looks like fun :thumb: Thank you for sharing with us and I look forward to the next write ups/vehicles.
That would be the Z8. Pretty rare...might be for a good reason. They do have a painted dash though, and that is really cool.
Wow great work!!! I also love all the cars in that garage. And ya that is a Z8 in the background... Too bad its not an Alpina Z8... haha j/k Anyways it sure looks like that you are a big time shopper at detailersdomain! Awesome work amp :applause:
thanks for all the comments...I worked the hardest on that car even though it needed the least amount of work! The paint just has so much real estate its really deceptively large! Tar removed with tardis and buffed off B4 polishing The Z8 was gorgeous true that
hmmm..I've been hearing great things about this tardis tar remover product. Where did you pick that up if you don't mind me asking? Detailersdomain, do you have this product? Eshine, do you have this product? I'd love to get some  Oh one question about the car, why does it have that number on it? Just wondering?
I picked it up on some UK website one night....i'll look it up I think it was clean and shiny Nica, about the number...from what I understand there are only a handful of the gulf editions in the world and each one has a different number (google the gulf GT or even the old gulf porsche's) so each owner go tto pick their own number btw Richard Griot (griot's garage pres.) owns #7....cool huh? I did 6 haha maybe when 7 is ready for a real detail I can do it too?:
Oh okay I wasen't sure if you got it from the US, I know tardis tar remover is big in the UK and use it quite often....well I'll add that to the list to the next order from Polished Bliss. Oh really so the number means the number of that particular vehicle, that's neat...thank you for sharing thumb:
