Well, I walk out this morning and I see this. Some young artist decided to use my trailer as his canvas. And yes very loud words were coming out of my mouth. I was pissed to say the least. Well after a few phone calls, to the police/friends/body shop. Police show up,take a few photos, right a report then leave. To the office to tell of the vandalizing of my trailer. Then to the body shop to remove Da Vinci's artwork. Started out with a can of graffiti remover, worked good. Was able to use a plastic razor blade to scrape off most of it. Then wiped it down with lacquer thinner, this removed almost all of it. Then went at it with 3M extra cut a wool pad and the DeWalt. The back door with the red came all off. I had put the speed at 3000rpm, on the blue section. Since it bled into the paint leaving a redish tint left behind. It is faint from a distance it looks like smudges, then about 10 feet away you can kind of still read it.So I am not sure if I am going to repaint it, or replace the skin.
:sorry: I am glad most of it came out!!!! I can only imagine how upset you were. But at least they didn't take anything :itsok:
Man that sucks. Sorry that had to happen to you Ed. There's absolutely no reason for that kind of crap. Grr
Sorry to see that Ed. It's hard to understand what people get out of vadalizing other peoples property. I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate someone doing it to their stuff even if they are kids.
paint the trailer with something called booth coat cause those people will prob be back. then next day just peel the stuff off lol.
I am so glad they didn't take anything that should be the law it was parked in the same parking spot, like it has for the last 3 years same here bro yeap I asked the same question to myself Good idea, but I hope they don't come back.
Damn, that sucks. My neighbor came over last night to tell us that someone broke into her house while she was gone last month. They stole a bunch of her personal belongings and sentimental stuff. She's 81 years old and her husband just passed away a few months ago. They took her husbands dog tags from the military(WWII), jewelry she had that he gave her a LONG time ago and many other things. She was pretty tore up and is scared now. This is directly across the street from me and whoever did it is VERY lucky I didn't see them because I'm afraid they would be lucky to have only 2 broken hands! It's ok though, my daughter knows a bunch of the low-life kids that have been hanging around the house and neighborhood lately and provided their names and a yearbook for identification purposes. They got tons of fingerprints, shoe prints, etc. to identify them:thumb: Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you bad boys.....:spank:::fs:
My neighbor's house got broken into a few weeks ago, and across the street they broke in as well last weekend. Looks like a spree going on in the streets where I live. It's a nice neighborhood, but quite a few construction projects going on. And with that comes trouble. I am having extra lights put in and my buddy is sending me some camera equipment...
