Haven't posted anything in a while so I figured I'd better get something done now that the snow and ice are gone. This is just a protection detail to tie the client over until May or June so we can polish it.

Engine, jambs and inner fenders presoaked and rinsed with AG Powermax3
Foamed with straight AG Powermax3 and a shot of PB Super Slick & Suds
Washed with Poorboys Super Slick & Suds
Tires, wheels and inner fenders cleaned with AG Custom Wheel Cleaner.
    Clayed with ClayMagic Blue
LSP today was Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm
Tires dressed with Blackfire Tire Gel
Glass cleaned with AG Fast Glass
Interior wiped down with PB APC diluted 6:1
    Leather Conditioned with Lexol

    Total Time - 7 hours

One very dirty RRover. Bad client!

After drivers door only. Guess I should have used AG Tar and Adhesive Remover eh?

RRover paint is quite soft. The marring you see is from client washing and claying. Crazy soft!

Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm to the rescue. This is after one coat.

Looking great Ken. Looks like you had your hands full with that RangeRover.
I'm looking forward to using my Auto Balm. Nice filling on that marring!

    Very nice :applause2:

Do you sell that Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm? It looks like it significantly darkened the paint, exactly what I want for my Dad's Range Rover.

Is it just the reflections or is the paint a lot darker?

I think youve posted this rover before? Results are pretty drastic considering no paint correction was done. Nice work :thumb:

Awesome product. This is a different RRover from the one I normally post. I will have BH Auto Balm, clay and soap in stock in 4-6 weeks. The only downside to this product is that if you apply it too thick, you're screwed. Period. It doesn't fill in RDS, but does a great job on light marring and wash induced damage.

I have heard this about BH, could you share with us your method of application? I cant wait to use it

First thing I did was throw away the terry applicator it came with. I just couldn't get it on thin enough using it. I used a Blackfire Ultimate Applicator pad. Spray the pad with water and gently push the pad down onto the BH Balm. DO NOT DRAG ACROSS!! The little bit the pad picks up will be enough to do a 2x2 section. I applied in small circles to ensure even coverage. Let it haze over and buff off. Do another section. If you put this stuff on too thick and it dries, well, its all over. Thin is the word of the day and in small sections. :thumb:

That is so wicked. How long does it last? I take it that it's in essence a glaze, correct?

Holy cow Ken, fabulous job. Be careful, this client isn't going to come back for a correction job if you keep making his Range Rover look that good!

Boy am I glad I got a pot of Auto Balm from Ben yesterday. I've got some "make it better" details coming up this weekend down in Atlanta, and I bet this will be just the thing. The filling effect is amazing!

...So when is that black SL63 in the garage getting some attention?

Im waiting to here back from Peter at BH as to longevity. We now have a resident BH expert here from DW, PJS. I'll ask him. Its actually a sealant with filling capabilities.

I can't stress enough, damp foam applicator, lightly press onto Balm, 2x2 section at a time. It takes a while but results are worth it. Seriously though, go load up a fender on your car like you'd normally do with a wax or sealant. I double dare you!!

Soon my little friend. Very soon. They haven't been driving it much as a local gangster who keeps getting shot at is driving a black 500SL as well. Best to avoid that situation all together.
