What a car this is! From any angle, it looks perfect. Loved working on it. Customer picked it up after the car was "detailed" by the dealership. Not happy with the results, he contacted a local detailer (Bend Oregon) who said: No problem, he can take care of the RIDS. Of course after a few washes, the paint now didn't just have RIDS, it was full of holograms. Somehow he found me on line, and we made an appointment.

Upon arrival, the car was washed for me and parked so I can work easier. (best host, by far, along with the owner of of the Camaro I did)

I taped the car down and inspected the paint.

Thank you guys! The owner was very happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, 2 days after the car was coated, he drove to town and sap got all over it and he used some "zymol" cleaner wax he had at home. Alcohol, vinegar didn't work. So we will see whether it remove the coating or not.

looks good. could you post a pic of the car after correction without the opticoat. I would like to see if opticoat add anything to the looks of a car post correction.

Sorry I don't have one of those pictures. I suggest, that you don't take my word for it, but I see a huge difference afterwards. Opti Coat has come a long way.

If you look at my Orange FR-S detail, I have some pictures after I washed the car and before Opti Coat.

    Wow, just beautiful !!!!!

I just Detailed a 2011 S4 in that same color - another gorgeous car. Audi really has their Interiors so dialed in ! The S4 had those big black Darth Vader front seats that were so darn comfortable and held you in really nice.. Im thinking any new Audi would be so nice to work on.. :)

I hope the Opticoat was cured enough to stand him messing with it after the Sap.. He should have just called you... In any event, he is going to so love how easy the car washes now with the Opti-Coat Pro on it ! I love to wash my black GrandCherokee now - it is so much easier..

Great, great, job, Tom ! The Clarity of that awesome color is amazing !

You using the Rupes machine/s now ?
