Here's a great detail we did for a client who bought this Porsche Boxster S from the dealer which was used as I believe the "managers vehicle" or something to that nature. As part of the deal in the sale Porsche Honolulu agreed that we do the detailing for the client before the vehicle is turned over. The detail is what we now call the Luxury Rejuvenation Detail. It was called the Full Detail before but to erase the mass confusion between the Full Detail and our full In/Out Detail the name change was inevitable. On to the detail! This detail took 14 hours to complete and we also doubled layer the Blackfire Paint sealant for added protection. Here's the Boxster on arrival. Horrible scuffs and paint transfer on the driver side front bumper! Calcium buildup in the badging. Heavy brake dust and dirt build up! Front driver side fender before. After 2 stages this is what we got. We also did a 3rd final polishing stage and a 4th "jeweling" stage. All following photos of before and afters, 50/50 shots ect. are all taken after the the 2nd stage was done. Because of time constraints I couldn't do photos of every stage. Maybe next one. Here's the rear lid, untouched, and the rear fender corrected. Took this shot in different light settings. Passenger door before and after.
And the final shots! Scuffs and paint transfer on the front bumper removed and fully corrected! Calcium buildup removed and corrected! Rims, calipers and wells all tided up! The money shot! Thank you for looking and comments much appreciated.
Nice dude. I've never seen so much orange peel on a Porsche before. I was just in Maui and Kauai for my honeymoon in early November. With the wetter season bringing rain short bursts of rain showers throughout the day I was curious how viable the detailing business is.
Thank you Lopealle! Thank you. In November and December we do get a lot of "Hawaii Snow" which sometimes can be non-stop for a week! But as soon as it clears we get blasted. Mostly from our regular clients seeking our maintenance packages. Thanks Drew! Thank you Fanatic. We do well with the Porsche Club here in Hawaii. Great bunch of guys and gals.
Thank you. I really like the P1. Easy stuff all around. Low powdering, easy to buff off, and easy clean up. The correction ability is top notch. Thanks Upper Class! It's great to be on here and be a part of a great community of professional detailers and detailing enthusiasts!
