Good evening! Another busy weekend! I have know client for years, and always having a business card on hand, I gave him one. He said that's funny, I was looking to get it done in the next couple week's, so we booked a date and here we go!! This is his daily driver/work/play truck. At 136,000 miles, it stays busy! Upon arrival:

Glad that's all off the paint!!

4 hours of prep work...no matter how you look at it...IT'S BIG!!

Paint in general is in great shape, but factory orange peel is outrageous!! Give me a week after being fully trained in wet sanding and then we would have a smooth finish...:)

    Now you see it..

    Vola!! Love 3M Adhesive remover...

SO hard to capture defects...simple scratches from car washes..

    There we go...

It JUST fits, no room to walk behind back bumper...

Well, lets get started...I always do inside first...back to front..

Light it up however you can.....been the best $18 light..it fell over on it's side, put bulbs back in it...keeps on going!!

    Oh goody...MORE tar!!

    3M Rocks!

Client had paintwork done on hood....I tried 50/50 shots...no luck here..but paint was SO smooth and flat..great work!!

I started out with Meg's M/F Cutting Pad & Meg's M300 Compound, but was not seeing "cut" I needed, so switched pad to Meg's Maroon Foam Cutting Pad and it made a huge difference..

    Of course there's len's shots..

    Best before/after on paint...

Ahhhh...that's better!! Decided 1 step was perfect!

Well, decided to change it up a little bit. Sonax Netshield was used on roof, tailgate, head/tail lights, all chrome and all exterior glass. Menzerna Powerlock was used on rest of paint. Applied using my Rupes D/A polisher and a Black Meg's Foam Finishing pad. Left Powerlock on all night and it took a whole 10 minutes to buff off this morning..super easy and insanely slick!! It's on there..

    It's a new day!! Let's roll!!
