This is my TL. I've been planning on detailing it for a long time but didn't have time untill today. It had some minor scratches on it. Paint was very dull, no shine at all. It was also heavily contaminated. Wheels - Sonax wheel cleaner Tires/Wheel wells - Megs APC+ Jambs, cracks and crevices - Megs APC+ Snowfoamed - CG honeydew snow foam, megs apc, dish soap Washed with ONR, then clayed with uber blue clay. Polished with GG da and LC white pad/power finish combo. Taillights and door pillars were polished with 85RD. LSP=Blackfire wet diamond all finish paint protection. I apologize for not having pics during the detailing process. It was 85 degrees outside and taking pics was the last thing on my mind lol From the roof. Rest of the car was also this bad.
definitely needs to be lowered btw how much correction was achieved with powerfinish on the nighthawk paint
I can't answer that percentage wise, but with just few passes it brought out the flakes in the paint and took care of most scratches. I had planned to follow it with 85rd since it's black, but 203 finished down real nice and I decided to leave it like that.
Looks good fellow TL'er! I've got a 07 KBP TL-S. As everyone else said, needs moar low. I recently dropped mine of F&F coils and don't regret it at all.
good work mang! i understand about the temp and pic taking...lol it was 35 C here yesterday (95 F for the americans) with no breeze, just stuffy and humid and sticky...not enjoyable to be detailing in that weather.
I left the camera in the car while I was detailing, when I tried to take a pic, I couldn't touch the camera it was so hot.
