After doing this client's Porsche 993 Turbo, he brought in his restored first year E-Type for paint correction work. This car is just gorgeous and has been on my list of cars to do for a long time. Had a tight deadline on this one and ended up working 24hrs straight on it, 9am-9am the following day. Upon arrival, it didn't look like it needed much work A closer inspection revealed the swirls easily seen in the sunlight That's a big front end.... The beautiful inline 6 engine More defects under shop lighting Before compounding After compounding. A few deep scratches would remain as they were too deep to safely remove. Final polishing still to be carried out. Before After Some leftover DA sanding scratches from when the car was painted and sanded to level orange peel texture. The sanding was right up to and in a few places over the edges of the panels, making removing them challenging. Much improved Headlight lens covers removed to clean all the visible areas not normally accessible. 9am following morning and very tired, but the E-Type was all done and looking amazing. Nothing really needed doing in the interior as it was spotless, but such a nice interior deserved a pic.....especially with it being right-hand-drive! Sun shots Sun bursts everywhere! Thanks for checking it out!
That blue is gorgeous!!! Great job. And I'm so enamored with those seats. Looks so cool. But that 993 Turbo *bites fist*. So sick.
